In the summer of 1993, a street show inspired by the Zorro series delighted visitors crossing Frontierland in front of the Fuente Del Oro Restaurant.
In this 4-minute entertainment piece, directed by Jean-Marc Chastel (Show director for Disneyland Paris from 1989 to 2002), Zorro fought with the sword and the strength of his fists against the soldiers of the pueblo's garrison. The show, punctuated by the famous music of the TV series, mixed action and humor and unfolded several times a day on the roofs and balconies of the restaurant.
The same year, a TV commercial called "Euro Disney - Under the Sign of the Night" (Sous le signe de la nuit) was broadcast, showing the vigilante cross the iconic places of Disneyland Park before donning a glass slipper to ... Cinderella herself! Improbable and so nostalgic.
