According to the website Deadline, Disney hired Tim Rasmussen and Vince Di Meglio to write a script about it’s a small world.
It seems there are plans for a family film based on the theme park attraction.
Disney created several movies that were based on Disney attractions already, here are a few examples:
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Haunted Mansion
Tomorrowland
The Country Bears
Tower of Terror
And another movie coming up is the Jungle Cruise.
